Burstow Flower Festival

St Bartholomew’s, Burstow Flower Festival is this Friday to Sunday (26-28 July 2024). The church will be open to see the displays from 10am to 6pm each day, and other highlights include:
Friday
– Church open 10am-6pm
– 11:30am Tower Bells Talk & Taster session
– 3pm Handbells
– 4pm Windmill Songmen
Saturday
– Church open 10am-6pm
– 1pm Handbells
– 3pm Tower Bells Talk & Taster session
Sunday
– Church open 10am-4pm
– 11:30am Handbells
– 4pm Choral Evensong
The tower bells will also be rung at various times, including quarter peals.
Refreshments will be available every day in the Flamsteed Hall. The event is to raise funds towards the restoration of the church and everyone is invited to come along to enjoy the occasion.

Appointment of New Rector

Revd Alan Bayes, the new Rector of the Benefice will be installed on the evening of Monday 30 September and details of the service will follow. Alan has recorded a welcome video, which you can see here.
