This Sunday, 23 April, there is a service of Morning Worship at 9.30am at St Bartholomew, Burstow, a service of Holy Communion at 10am at St Mary the Virgin, Horne and a service of Holy Communion at 11am at St John the Baptist, Outwood. And as always, there is an online service here, too, which this week is led by the Revd Steve Bishop

Brother, sister, let me serve you,
let me be as Christ to you;
pray that I may have the grace to
let you be my servant, too

We are pilgrims on a journey,
fellow trav’llers on the road;
we are here to help each other
walk the mile and bear the load.

I will hold the Christlight for you
in the night-time of your fear;
I will hold my hand out to you,
speak the peace you long to hear.

I will weep when you are weeping;
when you laugh, I laugh with you.
I will share your joy and sorrow
till we’ve seen this journey through.

When we sing to God in heaven,

born of all we’ve known together

The Collect for the Third Sunday of Easter

Almighty Father, who in your great mercy
gladdened the disciples with the sight of the risen Lord:
give us such knowledge of his presence with us,
that we may be strengthened and sustained by his risen life
and serve you continually in righteousness and truth;
through Jesus Christ your Son our Lord,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the Holy Spirit,
one God, now and for ever.

The Prayers

Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;

but deliver us from evil.
