The churches of Burstow, Horne and Outwood will come together on Pentecost Sunday, 5 June, for a special joint service to celebrate of the long life and service of Her Majesty the Queen. This will be a service of Holy Communion at 10am outside in the churchyard of St Mary the Virgin, Horne.

This will be followed by a picnic at Centenary Hall, Smallfield, from 12 noon until 6pm, organised by the Windmill United Benefice and the Parish Councils of Burstow and Horne. The Windmill Songmen will be singing songs from all the decades of the Queen’s reign and the Horne Barndance band will be leading the dancing! And in Outwood there will be a picnic tea from 4pm at which the Songmen will also be singing
