10am, Sunday 4 October, St Mary’s Church, Horne
Everyone and all pets welcome. Please ensure your pet is SAFE and SECURE.
All are welcome to join this service of thanksgiving for the natural world and all creatures, to celebrate St. Francis’ Day. There will be singing, prayers, a short talk and pet blessing.
So that everyone who joins the service – humans and animals – can enjoy their time at St. Mary’s, please make sure your pet is under control at all times. Larger pets should be kept on a lead, smaller pets should be in a carrier or cage. Very large pets (such as horses) will need to stay outside the church, but can receive a blessing outside.
Come along for the whole service, or just for a short time. Please don’t feel uncomfortable about leaving part way through if your pet is distressed.
If your pet is shy or scares easily, you could bring a photo of your pet or a cuddly toy instead.
It will be great to see you and your pet there.
