Online Service for 5 July 2026 – Windmill United Benefice

This Sunday, 5 July, we celebrate Lammastide with a joint United Benefice Communion service at Hookhouse Farm. There is also a service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer at 8am in St Mary the Virgin, Horne.

The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father, who art in heaven,
hallowed be thy name;
thy kingdom come;
thy will be done; on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.

as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation;
but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
the power and the glory,

O God,
your son made himself known
to his disciples in the breaking of bread;
open the eyes of our faith,
that we may see him in his redeeming work,
who is alive and reigns with you,
in the unity of the holy spirit,
one God, now and for ever.
